About
I am a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, under the supervision of Professor Yufeng Liu and Professor Dinggang Shen. Prior to UNC, I received a B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics From Fudan University, China in 2015. Here is a link to my current CV.
Most of my work are driven from applications in the real world. I currently work as a research assistant in the IDEA Group at UNC School of Medicine. Basically, I focus on statistical modeling of heterogeneous data driven from the study of Alzheimer’s Disease. On the methodology side, my research interests include nonparametric statistics and high dimensional data analysis.
I am currently the organizer of Professor Liu’s group meeting website. In the group meeting, the group members present on their research progress or interesting recent papers. Please take a look at the list of presentations in the current semester if you are interested.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out and traveling. I also have a passion on playing the ukulele.
